So far this week, President Donald Trump embarked on a remarkable four-day journey through the Middle East, with stops in Saudi Arabia and Qatar that have already made headlines for their historic achievements.

The amazing welcome given by Saudi Arabia and Qatar to our President Trump is unlike any welcome to any US President in history. Americans should take note of the first class treatment and respect, especially the ones who are always awful to President Trump.

The trip, marking his first major international tour of his second term, underscores Trump’s knack for blending bold diplomacy with blockbuster business deals, setting a new tone for U.S. relations in the region.

In Saudi Arabia, Trump was greeted with a lavish welcome, complete with a ceremonial escort of F-15 jets as Air Force One touched down in Riyadh. The visit kicked off with a high-energy investment forum where Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman inked a staggering $600 billion commitment for Saudi investments in the U.S., including a $142 billion arms deal hailed as a cornerstone of a “new golden era” in U.S.-Saudi ties. Trump also made waves by announcing the lifting of sanctions on Syria, a move he said would give the country “a chance at greatness” under its new leadership. His meeting with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, whom he praised as “tough” and “attractive,” signaled a pragmatic approach to regional stability.

The momentum continued in Qatar, where Trump was welcomed with red-carpet treatment in Doha. Alongside Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, he announced a jaw-dropping $200 billion deal for Qatar Airways to purchase 160 Boeing jets, touted as the largest order in Boeing’s history. The leaders also signed defense agreements, including deals for military drones, strengthening ties between the U.S. and Qatar, home to the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East. Trump’s call for Qatar’s help in easing tensions with Iran over its nuclear ambitions added a diplomatic layer to the visit, showcasing his focus on pragmatic solutions.

What makes this trip stand out is Trump’s ability to merge economic wins with strategic outreach. From securing massive trade deals to fostering dialogue with key Gulf leaders, he’s proving that commerce can pave the way for stability in a region long defined by conflict. As he heads to the United Arab Emirates for the final leg, the world is watching to see how Trump’s deal-making prowess continues to reshape the Middle East.

This is just the beginning of what promises to be a transformative chapter in U.S. foreign policy. Stay tuned to The Kennedy Journal for more updates as we get them.
